High-temperature heat shield socks for your Duramax up-pipes. These wrap around your up-pipes to contain exhaust heat, protect surrounding engine bay components, and improve turbo spool time.

Why Run Heat Shield Socks?

The up-pipes on your Duramax sit right next to sensitive engine bay components. Without insulation, radiant heat from the up-pipes can degrade wiring harness insulation, boil fuel, and heat-soak the transmission. These socks contain that heat where it belongs - inside the exhaust flow - which also helps your turbo spool faster by keeping exhaust gas temperatures high through the up-pipes.
